Emily Swallow

The career of Swallow began at Broadway theater which she starred in various performances. This include High Fidelity and King Lear at the Guthrie Theater. Other productions include Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park. The off-Broadway debuts of Romantic Poetry and Measuring for Pleasure. Swallow's film debut was in 2008 in the war-themed drama The Lucky Ones. Swallow was in the world premieres for Donald Margulies' The Country House and Louis Jenkins' Nice Fish both in Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. She was honored in 2010 with the Falstaff Award as the best female performer in the world for her part in The Taming of the Shrew. Swallow joined forces with Jac Huberman to create an original stage production, Jac N Swallow. The two performed at the New York's Laurie Beeckman Theater in 2012 and at Joe's Pub in the year 2012. The show is based around the hilarious mishaps of the pair when they face very diverse issues in their lives with various degrees of sanity and dignity. They are developing a series inspired by the characters. [citation needed] In 2013 she collaborated together with Mark Rylance and poet Louis Jenkins on the premiere in world-wide of Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theater. In the year 2016, Center Theatre Group cast Swallow as Ayad Akhtar The Disgraced. [6] Swallow's first television role was in Guiding Light, and she also appeared on Southland, Ringer, The Good Wife, NCIS, Flight of the Conchords, Medium and as the series' regular The Good Wife, Dr. Michelle Robidaux on TNT's medical drama Monday Mornings[2] as well as Rizzoli and Isles. [1] She had an important role in The Mentalist as FBI agent Kim Fischer. The 11th season of Supernatural which aired in 2015, she was chosen to play Amara - "the Darkness". In 2019, she'll take on the role as Armorer who is the leader of traditionalist Mandalorians on Star Wars' The Mandalorian. Her face has not been shown in the series since the Mandalorians who are traditionalists do not remove their helmets in view of others. In Season 3 her character appears more prominent as the plot concentrates on Mandalorians as well as their traditions, not the Mandalorians as a whole. Emily Emily Emily
