Bellamy Young
Young started her career as an actor in theatre. In 1997 she had her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the production of The Life. Also, she performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's music production Merrily we Roll Along (1994) along with Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). In 1995, she made her television debut on a recurring character on"The Other World," an NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. The year 1997 was the same and in 1998, she was a guest star on Law & Order, playing two different roles. In 1999 she made her movie debut with a minor role in the crime drama Black and White and later joined the cast of several independent movies. Young began appearing in TV comedies and dramas at the start of the 2000s. The shows included The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. From 2000 until 2011 Young had more than 30 guest appearances in television programs. Young was one of the regular actors in Peacemakers the USA Network television series that was aired in 2003. After nine episodes, the series stopped after a single episode. The actress was a regular character in the Lifetime show For the People, a crime drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs as Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) in ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) as well as CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). Also, she played a regular character on Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons from 2011 to 2013
