The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress, and the Congressional Award Board of Directors, give the Horizon Award special recognition. The Horizon Award is given to people in the private sector that have helped in enhancing opportunities for everyone Americans. It also honors people who have set exemplary examples for young people through their achievements in life. Tom was a wonderful player and was thrilled to be included within such a highly skilled and well-experienced group. He was a hard worker and played with a lot of intensity when his Magnum schedule allowed . He was very conscientious and loved playing with us. ".
