When he was in high school and was a senior, he realized that his dream was to be an actor. He attended college for 3 weeks. "Things didn't really turn out for me, it did not go as planned for them which is why they had to break up." He later moved to New York where he attended Circle in the Square Theatre School. The actors came together again in the movie The Last Word, in the film they played on-screen lovers. The movie was written by Stuart Fink and directed by Mark Pellington, also starred Broadway icon Shirley MacLaine. Sadoski's ex-wife Hope had recently divorced him, and Seyfried had broken up with Long in September.
