
Christina Applegate (born November 25, 1971)[1] is an American actress. As a child actor, she became famous for her role as Kelly Bundy in the Fox sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate had a successful career in film and television. Applegate won the Primetime Emmy Award for seven nominations, along with four Golden Globe Awards nominations and the Tony Award. Applegate appeared in the title role in the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-2000), for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award. For her performance as an actor on the NBC sitcom Friends which she starred in, she received a Primetime Emmy Award. For her role in the Broadway revival of Sweet Charity (2005), she earned a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Applegate then starred in the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? She was a prominent character in the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? (2007-2009), where she won two Primetime Emmy Award nominees and an Golden Globe Award nomination; and the NBC sitcom Up All Night (2011).
